The setbacks occurred at a time of high anticipation generated by the trailer, which quickly went viral on social media. This video marked the studio's debut in showing gameplay scenes from the title, captured directly from the PlayStation 5 console.
In monitoring conducted by the DownDetector platform, which tracks failures in digital services, reports of problems began around 3:55 PM, shortly before the trailer's broadcast started. However, it was observed that the instability did not affect all subscribers.
To date, Netflix has not disclosed the origin of the problem nor confirmed any link between the fluctuations and the release of the GTA 6 trailer. It is possible that the service exhibits momentary variations during periods of high access volume.
