The Government of Ajman has permitted certain government employees who are parents to arrive at work later or leave earlier on the first day or during the first week of the 2026–2027 academic year.
The Human Resources Department of the Ajman government announced that these employees will be given the option to deviate from their schedule by up to three hours daily in order to pick up or drop off their children.
For workers whose children attend kindergartens or nurseries, the permission applies for the entire first week of the academic process. The same flexibility is provided only for the first day of classes for employees whose children attend primary school and above.
Ajman specified that the start time of classes in schools will be determined according to the approved curriculum, and all permissions must be recorded through the 'Mawared Ajman' application. Oversight of compliance with this circular will be carried out by human resources departments.
