Uzbekistan Airports has introduced reduced tariffs for services related to the handling of cattle, sheep, and goats transported into Uzbekistan by air. These new rates apply at all international airports in the country, provided that the services are paid for by the consignees.
The preferential tariffs cover the main operations performed after the aircraft's arrival, including the reception and unloading of animals, as well as their placement and cargo handling at the destination airport.
The Commercial Department of Uzbekistan Airports announced that this tariff change will help businesses reduce airport service costs and decrease the overall cost of transporting livestock to Uzbekistan.
The department emphasized that this decision will allow businesses to cut ground handling expenses at the airport and consequently lower the cost of delivering livestock to Uzbekistan. This is particularly relevant for large shipments, as logistics costs directly affect the final price of imported livestock.

The introduction of reduced tariffs is part of measures aimed at developing the livestock sector and stimulating air import of livestock. These measures are implemented in accordance with Presidential Decree No. 179 dated May 12, 2026.
Uzbekistan Airports expects that the updated tariff policy will make air transport of livestock more attractive to businesses and will contribute to the further development of the cargo segment at the country's airports.
