The Rand Airport Air Show 2026 will take place tomorrow at Rand Airport in Hermiston, marking the return of the event after a three-year hiatus that began in 2023.
After three years away, the long-awaited air show promises a packed day full of spectacular sights, entertainment, and family fun. Gates open at 8 am, and the flight and show program will run from 10:00 am to 3:30 pm.
Visitors can enjoy an impressive program of aerial displays featuring some of South Africa's most exciting aircraft and pilots. Among them are the Puma Flying Lions team, based at Rand Airport, as well as Harvard, Master Power Extra 330, classic Beech 18, and other types.
The flight program will showcase a combination of acrobatic flights, historic aircraft, and high-energy aerial routines. Various food and beverage options will be available throughout the day, and a dedicated beer tent will provide visitors with a relaxing area to unwind and enjoy the atmosphere.
The event will also feature static aircraft exhibitions, and flight schools will demonstrate their training programs and opportunities for those interested in an aviation career.
