TVS Company has introduced an updated version of its popular Jupiter scooter in the Indian market. The new line is called Jupiter Dual Tone Spectral Range. This scooter is equipped with a 110 cc engine and is now available in a two-tone finish.
The updated Jupiter includes features such as sequential turn indicators, an enlarged seat, a USB Type-C charging port, and Bluetooth connectivity technology. In July, the company sold 148,595 units of the Jupiter.
The Jupiter TVS Dual Tone Spectral Range starts from ₹89,825 at the showroom. The scooter is available in two color variants: Spectral Blue and Spectral Copper Dual Tone. The main focus of the new model is on the scooter's color.
A special color-changing effect finish has been developed for both colors, which is combined with redesigned seat upholstery and partially chromed mirrors. These two colors make the 110 cc Jupiter the first scooter to offer a dual-tone spectral color.
The Jupiter TVS Dual Tone Spectral Range is equipped with sequential indicators, which is a segment feature. Instead of ordinary blinking, the indicators emit light in a sequential pattern, giving the scooter a unique appearance. Changes have also been made to the exterior of the scooter.
This scooter comes with a premium long seat that provides extra support for both the rider and the passenger, improving comfort. Additionally, the Jupiter features a 33-liter storage space under the seat, which TVS claims is the best in its segment, and it can fit two helmets.
The new Jupiter supports Smart Connect technology, which provides the user with navigation, call, and SMS alert information directly on the scooter. It is also equipped with a USB Type-C charging port. The scooter runs on a 113.3 cc single-cylinder four-stroke petrol engine, which generates 7.9 hp and 9.8 Nm of torque, providing fuel economy of up to 61 kilometers per liter.
