Uzbekistan Consulate Helped Citizen Return Home from Yekaterinburg

The General Consulate of Uzbekistan provided assistance to a citizen of the country who was homeless in Yekaterinburg and had to sleep on the streets for several days before returning to his homeland, reports the Dunyo news agency.

A local resident contacted the consulate with information regarding the situation of an Uzbek citizen, identified as O.V., a native of Navoi region. According to his account, the man was left without housing and lacked basic living conditions for several days.

Consular staff responded promptly to the request and conducted an interview with O.V. After establishing his identity and clarifying the circumstances, consular employees contacted the citizen's relatives.

With the support of the General Consulate, the necessary steps were taken to facilitate his return to his permanent residence. As a result, the Uzbek citizen safely left Yekaterinburg and arrived in Tashkent, returning to Uzbekistan.
