Temple, a wearable startup supported by Dipinder Goyal, has announced the acquisition of London-based company Longevous. This takeover is part of strengthening Temple's clinical and scientific capabilities ahead of its launch. Goyal announced the deal in a post on the social network X on Thursday.
As a result of the acquisition, Longevous founders, Dr. Robert Mohr and Dr. Avi Roy, along with their team, will join Temple permanently. Dr. Mohr has been appointed as the Chief Medical Officer of Temple. He is a board-certified physician with nearly two decades of clinical experience; he previously worked in emergency medicine before transitioning to evidence-based longevity medicine.
Dr. Roy has taken the position of Head of Science. He is a biomedical scientist educated at Oxford and has worked at the intersection of longevity science and business. He is a co-founder of Founders Health and UDA, and previously completed a research internship at the Centre for Sustainable Medical Innovation at the University of Oxford.
According to Goyal, Mohr and Roy tested Temple for two months and collaborated with the company's scientific team to validate its Entropy technology and collected data. They also participated in the validation of Temple and reviewed the first scientific manuscripts before submission.
Goyal clarified in his tweet that Longevous will continue to operate as part of Temple, with Mohr and Roy personally overseeing the company's existing clients.
Temple, which was founded by Goyal in 2024, is preparing for launch using wearable technology to monitor physiological and health indicators while developing an in-house scientific team focused on longevity.
