A solar photovoltaic power station, along with an energy storage system with a capacity of 150 MW, has been commissioned in the Nuratinsky district of the Navoi region. This project, with a total cost of 390 million dollars, was implemented in partnership with the Chinese company China Energy Overseas Investment.

The new facility will provide an annual generation of 657 million kilowatt-hours of clean electricity. This volume is sufficient to supply approximately 273 thousand homes with electricity over the year. Furthermore, the launch of the station will lead to an annual saving of 175 million cubic meters of natural gas and help prevent the emission of 377 thousand tons of harmful substances into the atmosphere.

Thirty permanent jobs have been created on the station's territory. Previously, in the regions of Uzbekistan, as part of preparations for the 35th anniversary of independence, 163 industrial, service, and social facilities were launched with a total value of almost 50 trillion soms, which is projected to create 15 thousand new jobs.
