Uzbekistan's lemon exports more than doubled

According to data from the National Statistical Committee, between January and June 2026, Uzbekistan exported 4,100 tons of lemons for a total of 4.2 million US dollars.

The volume of supplies increased by 2.2 times compared to the same period last year.

Main export destinations

Kazakhstan became the largest market, importing 2,300 tons of lemons from Uzbekistan in the first six months. Russia took second place, receiving 1,700 tons of goods. Additionally, Uzbekistan sent 163.7 tons of lemons to Kyrgyzstan.

Supplies to other countries were significantly smaller: only 18 tons were delivered to Afghanistan, and 2.4 tons to the United Arab Emirates. An additional 3 tons were sent to other markets.

Thus, Kazakhstan and Russia accounted for about 4,000 tons out of the total volume of 4,100 tons of lemons exported by Uzbekistan in January-June 2026.
