The astrology online platform InstaAstro, based in Noida, successfully raised $12 million in a Series A round. The leaders of this round were Singularity AMC and Artha Venture Fund, who participated alongside the company's founders.
InstaAstro plans to use the funds raised to develop artificial intelligence-based solutions. These solutions include sentiment analysis, which will help astrologers provide deeper consultations, as well as implementing multilingual support to improve the customer experience across different languages. Furthermore, the company intends to expand its offerings in the areas of pooja seva and spiritual commerce.
InstaAstro was founded in 2021 by Nitin Verma. Until recently, the company had already attracted cumulative funding of 21.7 crore rupees. Nitin Verma, founder and CEO of InstaAstro, stated his commitment to creating 'the most reliable spiritual platform in the world, prioritizing quality over quantity.'
The company also reported that its annual revenue exceeded 200 crore rupees. The 2025 financial year report showed a revenue of 52 crore rupees, which increased to 111.26 crore rupees in the 2026 financial year. The platform's user base reached 12 million people, demonstrating growth of about 400% over the last two years.
In addition to standard astrological consultations, the startup has entered the markets of tarot, numerology, Vastu, and other related disciplines. The company has also begun operating in the segments of worship services, remedies for problems, wellness products, and spiritual trade.
InstaAstro claims that approximately 5000 experts are currently working on the platform, serving users in both India and international markets. In India, most users are located in first-tier cities, but second and third-tier cities have become the fastest-growing segments. International markets account for approximately 25% of the revenue, mainly driven by the Indian diaspora.
Anirudh A Damani, Managing Partner at Artha Venture Fund, commented on the investment in InstaAstro, noting that the founder spent five years on 'unglamorous aspects: astrologer verification, quality assessment, reason for return. The first consultation is marketing. The second is business.'
It is projected that the online astrology market will reach a volume of $1.8 billion by 2030.
