Ford F-150 Raptor expected to launch in Brazil in early 2027

After several presentations at fairs and exhibitions, the Ford F-150 Raptor has a set date for its arrival in the Brazilian market. The automaker confirmed that the large sports pickup will be introduced in early 2027.

The version of the F-150 Raptor displayed at the Interlagos Festival is equipped with a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 engine, generating 455 horsepower, making it the most powerful pickup in the country.

More details on the suspension

Following the standard of the Ranger Raptor, the Ford F-150 Raptor incorporates coil springs on the rear axle. The entire suspension system was designed with long travel to support high-speed off-road use, similar to Baja competitions.

Currently, the F-150 Raptor is only available with a double cab and comes with a complete set of equipment. Although the final specifications for Brazil have not yet been disclosed, the inclusion of features such as a digital dashboard, ADAS package, exclusive sound system, and other luxury items is expected.

Return of the Mustang GT Performance

Another Ford launch destined for Brazil is the return of the Mustang GT Performance. This model will be positioned below the Dark Horse version, which will continue to be sold normally.

The 5.0 Coyote V8 engine in the Mustang GT Performance produces 492 hp and 57.8 kgfm, which is 15 hp less than the Dark Horse. The vehicle features a 10-speed automatic transmission, while the manual version was reserved for a limited run.

Additionally, Ford presented the Mustang Dark Horse SC at the Interlagos Festival. This specific edition uses a 5.2L V8 engine with a mechanical compressor, identical to that found in the previous generation's Shelby GT500. This model is in Brazil to gauge public reaction but does not yet have a defined price for the national market. At the Ford booth, a prototype of its future Formula 1 car was also exhibited.
