Recently, amidst IPL transfers, numerous rumors have circulated. Some reports suggested that the young Indian batsman Yashvi Jaiswal might leave Rajasthan Royals (RR) and join Mumbai Indians (MI).
However, Rajasthan Royals has now issued a statement on this matter, completely refuting all such speculations and rumors. There was speculation that the RR team was seeking to acquire Hardik Pandya in exchange for certain conditions.
Cricket fans on social media also speculated that Mumbai Indians was trying to attract Yashvi by offering Hardik Pandya to the Rajasthan team. Nevertheless, the management of Mumbai Indians has made no official confirmation regarding this.
Following the emergence of 15-year-old rising star Vaibha Suryawanshi, rumors began circulating that Royals' attention was now focused more on new young talents. These rumors even reached the point where former captain Sanju Samson was allegedly leaving the team and moving to Chennai Super Kings. Against this backdrop, there were suggestions of Yashvi's dissatisfaction with the team and a possible departure from RR.
A senior official from Royals, speaking with Revive Sports, refuted all these claims, clearly stating that Yashvi Jaiswal is an integral part of the team's plans for IPL 2027. According to the representative, Yashvi has never expressed a desire to leave the team, and the franchise is preparing for the next season taking his participation into account. The team is not paying attention to any rumors.
Jaiswal has established himself as a reliable player, debuting for Rajasthan Royals in 2020. Last season, he scored 427 runs, demonstrating an impressive strike rate of 152.50 in 16 matches, and played a key role in advancing the team to the playoffs. Mumbai Indians did not meet expectations last season, and the team under Hardik Pandya failed to qualify for the playoffs.
