A meeting took place in Tashkent on August 26 between Uzbekistan and the international pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca, where the development of the medical and pharmaceutical sectors, the application of modern medicines, and prospects for further cooperation were discussed.
According to the agency's press service, the event was held at the Agency for the Development of the Medical and Pharmaceutical Industry. Participants discussed the use of modern medications in clinical practice and studied advanced international experience.
Furthermore, the parties exchanged views on areas where deeper interaction is possible. Special attention was paid to current issues in the healthcare system, including methods of cancer prevention and treatment.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides expressed readiness to continue joint work and implement new projects in the field of medicine and pharmaceuticals.
