Speaking about his role, Bhuvan Bam emphasized that 'The Revolutionaries' differs from traditional freedom fighter dramas. It is a story about four young heroes defending their beliefs while overcoming conflicts and forming a blood-forged brotherhood. He added that Rash Behari was a 'behrupiya'—a master of disguise who infiltrated British camps. Since there are few archival materials about this person, he had the opportunity to create his image from scratch, based on instincts, and the clarity and conviction of Nikhil gave him confidence in exploring this mystery. He expressed gratitude to Prime Video for presenting these untold stories to viewers around the world.
The trailer introduces viewers to the four revolutionaries: Rash Behari Bose (played by Bhuvan Bam), Sachindra Nath Sanyal (played by Rohit Saraf), Pratibha Lahiri (played by Pratibha Ranty), and Bagha Jatin (played by Gurfateh Pirzada). This role required intensive preparation, allowing him to go far beyond his comfort zone. Pratibha Ranty explained that Pratibha Lahiri is a young, progressive woman fighting for the right to be heard in a male-dominated world, and this struggle remains relevant today. This is what attracted her to the role.
