Actress Shagun Sharma discusses industry demands for leading roles

Actress and Big Boss contestant Arshi Khan is often in the spotlight due to various scandals, but recently she has made several important statements regarding the entertainment industry.

Arshi Khan spoke about double standards in the entertainment industry. She stated that she is uncomfortable participating in intimate scenes on screen.

In an interview with Bollywood bubble, Arshi Khan gave an example, mentioning that when Kajol kissed in a web series, it became a precedent that is still used. However, she emphasized that she herself refused such scenes.

She recounted that in her web series 'The Devil Inside', the girl in the second role did everything, but she had her own conditions. Arshi said that she ignored such demands, insisting that she would not act in intimate scenes.

Arshi Khan added that she would not name the actor she worked with, but noted that he greatly bothered her by demanding she perform certain actions as part of the character. Therefore, she prefers to stay away from such situations.

She believes that if intimate scenes fall into Category A, they will not be called cheap, but if they are created specifically for OTT, they fall into a category of something cheaper and more vulgar. Arshi Khan also observed that if one exposes oneself on Netflix, the television industry will perceive it as something outstanding, whereas if the same scenes were shot for another channel, it would cause condemnation.

Actress Nehal Vadoliya, who previously worked in the television industry, is now known as a bold character. In addition to her acting career, Nehal also works as an intimate scene coordinator.

Nehal asked people to understand that these scenes are not fun. She emphasized that exactly what is written in the script will happen on camera. She also added that no feelings arise when performing daring scenes because the director gives acting instructions. She feels it is best if such scenes are shot in one take.

Furthermore, Nehal reported that various marks can appear on the body after filming daring scenes, and these scenes are considered difficult. She mentioned that actors often experience discomfort while performing such scenes. The actress also shared that she has filmed extreme scenes, and there are different categories of bold scenes, including the category of erotica after extreme.
