The Polish sewing company LPP is considering the prospects of establishing production facilities in Uzbekistan through cooperation with local enterprises. This was learned from the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The issue was discussed on August 25, 2026, at a meeting between Akram Aliyev, Deputy Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan, and Dorota Jankowska, Procurement and ESG Director of LPP. The parties discussed various options for utilizing Uzbekistan's production potential and expanding interaction with domestic firms. Special attention was paid to the conditions necessary to launch production in the country.
During the negotiations, the participants also reviewed LPP's strategic development plans until 2028, exploring opportunities to increase the company's presence in Uzbekistan and implement new joint projects. After the meeting, the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade stated its readiness to provide LPP with all necessary assistance and operational support as part of its expansion in Uzbekistan.
