Scientists from the USA, Australia, Germany, and Japan have completed an epidemiological cohort study. The results showed that in areas of the United States where there is a high incidence of alpha-gal syndrome, the probability of developing allergic reactions after transfusing donor blood products containing antigen B increases.

A large-scale scientific study conducted by researchers from five different countries established a correlation between Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and a higher level of adverse cardiovascular events in individuals suffering from hypertensive disease.
According to the results, patients with hypertension who have ADHD have an increased probability of experiencing myocardial infarction, stroke, or death due to heart problems. Furthermore, an increased overall risk of death from any cause was noted.
Scientists hypothesize that this relationship may be due to insufficient discipline in adhering to prescribed treatment, which is likely related to the manifestations of the disorder itself.
The results of this study were officially presented in the peer-reviewed journal The Lancet Primary Care.
