According to the latest forecast from the meteorological department, a low-pressure area formed in Jharkhand and its surroundings has intensified. This has led to the start of a period of heavy rains in the eastern and central parts of the country, which is expected to last for another three days. The meteorological department has predicted that heavy rains are possible in the region covering Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Jharkhand over the next three days.
In the latest bulletin from the meteorological department, heavy rains are forecasted in many areas of UP and Bihar for three days. Regarding the national capital Delhi, the meteorological department reported that light rain is possible on the morning and afternoon of August 26. According to the meteorological department, the maximum temperature in Delhi during this period will be between 32 and 34 degrees Celsius. By the end of this week, the influence of cloud cover will begin to weaken, and temperatures will rise.
After the reduction in cloud cover influence, the meteorological department predicts an increase in the maximum temperature to 35–37 degrees Celsius. The meteorological department has also provided regional rainfall forecasts. According to these forecasts, heavy rains are expected in Uttarakhand first on August 26, and then on August 30–31. In Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Muzaffarabad, good rains are possible in isolated places around August 31.
