The photo exhibition titled 'Fergana: Yesterday and Today' has opened. The exhibition includes 250 photographic exhibits.
The exhibition features images of historical landscapes of Margilon during the khanate era, where people are depicted in traditional clothing and buildings are in clay style. Photographs of the first oil wells in Fergana are also exhibited, capturing specialists drilling for oil in the village of Chimyon.
The exhibition was organized at the initiative of the Territorial Department of Archives of Fergana and is being held at the regional history museum. It presents photographic documents reflecting various periods in the life of the localities, networks, and personalities, as well as their comparison with the current state.
