Gamescom 2026 kicks off this Tuesday, the 25th, in the city of Cologne, Germany. The event will be inaugurated with the traditional Opening Night Live ceremony, hosted by Geoff Keighley, starting at 3 PM Brasília time.
Interested parties can follow the broadcast through the official Gamescom channels available on YouTube and Twitch. The fair will run until August 30th, serving as a meeting point for hundreds of gaming industry companies, where announcements and demonstrations will be shown.
The initial presentation will bring news about already confirmed titles, in addition to revealing new, yet-to-be-announced games. Among the expected titles are several games, and the organization has promised other surprises during the broadcast.
The 2026 edition will feature the participation of 948 exhibitors. Confirmed companies include ASUS, Konami, Remedy, Ubisoft, CD Projekt RED, Bandai Namco, Xbox, Nintendo, EA, SEGA, and Capcom. During the event days, visitors will have the opportunity to try games such as Fable, Mega Man: Dual Override, Alien Isolation 2, The Blood of Dawnwalker, Minecraft Dungeons 2, and Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3.
In addition to the opening, the week's schedule includes the Future Games Show 2026, scheduled for Wednesday, the 26th, at 2 PM Brasília time. This show's broadcast will be presented by Angela Sant’Albano, an actress known for her role in Grace in Resident Evil Requiem, and Nick Apostolides, who plays Leon in the latest games of the franchise.
