The video shows Pant, who is suffering from a shoulder injury, enjoying the rain. His interaction with the fans touched many. Fans watching him in the rain began to show concern. One fan approached him and said, 'Rishabh Bhai... you might get a fever. The water here is different!' Pant laughed at this and replied, 'You should go and get vaccinated against fever... Even if it doesn't work, do it.' The fan had to reply, 'No, no, brother... We love you, brother!'
Pant sustained the injury during the match. On the first day of the match, a ball bowled by fast Sri Lankan player Lahiru Kumara hit Pant's wrist, forcing him to leave the field injured.
