The state energy company Uzbekneftegaz held negotiations with the Chinese manufacturer Honghua Group regarding the possible acquisition of five automated drilling rigs to update its technical fleet.

The meeting with representatives of Honghua focused on increasing drilling efficiency, implementing modern equipment, and modernizing the company's operational machinery.
The parties considered the possibility of purchasing four ZJ70 model drilling rigs and one ZJ90 model rig.
According to Uzbekneftegaz, using these advanced rigs will allow for the application of modern drilling technologies, increasing production capacity, and accelerating the commissioning of new oil and gas wells.
Furthermore, during the negotiations, issues were discussed regarding optimizing supply costs, enhancing the economic efficiency of the potential contract, and expanding bilateral cooperation under mutually beneficial terms.
