Iran defeats Kuwait in 2026 Asian Youth Handball Championship

Iran defeated Kuwait with a score of 21:18 in the 2026 Asian Youth Handball Championship, which took place on Monday in Tehran.

Prior to this, the Persian team started the tournament with a confident victory over Saudi Arabia with a score of 28:20 on Friday, but was subsequently defeated by Qatar with a score of 24:22.

On Wednesday, Iran will play against Syria. The Iranian youth national team was placed in Group B along with Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Syria. This group appears more difficult compared to the other, as three teams, besides Iran, are considered serious contenders for the championship title.

South Korea, Bahrain, Jordan, India, Uzbekistan.
