The film's plot unfolds in the fictional city of Joypurra. The city appears both picturesque and mysterious. Here, amidst fear, silence, and hidden secrets, there is a special group of 'baraupi' (clowns) that is part of the cultural identity of this place. Director Devashish Makhija made this mystical world a central part of the narrative.
