Avaada Group has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Haryana Enterprises Promotion Centre (HEPC), Government of Haryana, to establish a green industrial campus spanning 300 acres in Hisar. The planned investment for this project is approximately 10,000 crore rupees.
The company stated that this campus is capable of creating over 5,000 jobs. It will operate on renewable energy around the clock and is designed to support industries aiming to reduce their carbon footprint. Furthermore, the campus will help strengthen energy security and enhance businesses' readiness for global sustainability requirements, such as the European Union's Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM).
According to the memorandum, the Government of Haryana will provide support for the campus's development. This support will be delivered through granting the appropriate industrial park status, identifying a tailored package of incentives, ensuring general infrastructure, connectivity, and utilities, as well as expediting necessary approval procedures via the state's single window system.
The partnership is also expected to attract leading investors, technology partners, and industry participants. The company added that together with the state government, they plan to explore the possibility of conducting joint international investment tours in countries such as Germany, France, Italy, Netherlands, Belgium, Japan, and South Korea.
The statement emphasized that developing this project will enable participating industries to decrease the carbon intensity of their operations and meet the growing global demand for low-carbon products and supply chains. Avaada Group has experience in solar PV manufacturing, renewable power generation, green hydrogen and its derivatives, energy storage systems, pumped hydro projects, and green data centers.
