Students from Badwani school march, citing problems; collector orders investigation

The story of the sudden disappearance of a 16-year-old student and his 38-year-old tutor in Agra occupied the police for a long time. On August 4, the student left home and did not return. It soon became clear that the teacher who tutored him was also absent from her residence. The situation was aggravated by the fact that it involved a minor and a teacher who was 22 years older.

After filing a complaint by relatives, the police began an investigation. Analysis of mobile call data showed prolonged communication between both individuals. Then, footage from CCTV cameras at the railway station provided the police with the first significant lead: both were seen on a train at Agra Cantt station. Following this, the police began searching in various cities and eventually found the student in Noida and the teacher in Mathura. According to the police, after their safe discovery, they were handed over to their families. Relatives have so far declined any legal action.

The entire incident took place in the Tajganj area of Agra. The 16-year-old student is in the 11th grade at one of the city's public schools. According to his family, he often received reprimands at home regarding his studies, which caused him anxiety. The student was tutored by the 38-year-old teacher in the Dandhupur area. On August 4, the student left home with a sum of about three thousand rupees to carry out work related to a school project. He left his bicycle with a friend. Initially, the family assumed he had gone to school or on errands, but when he did not return after a long time, relatives started looking for him. Information from relatives and friends did not yield results.

During the search, the student's family discovered another shocking detail: the teacher with whom he was studying was also missing from home. The teacher is married and has two children; she is about 38 years old, and the student is 16, meaning there is an age gap of approximately 22 years. The simultaneous disappearance of both made the case more serious. The student's parents filed a report at the Tajganj police station. The police initiated a case under articles concerning the abduction of a minor. The teacher's husband also filed a missing person report.

As the investigation progressed, the police began examining the details of both individuals' mobile phone calls. The investigation revealed that they maintained extensive correspondence. This raised suspicions among the police regarding the constant contact between the student and the teacher and the possible connection to their joint departure from home. Subsequently, the police began checking surveillance footage at potential locations they might have passed through. During this process, the police found recordings from Agra Cantt railway station showing them on a train. These footage changed the direction of the investigation, and the police intensified searches along railway routes.

The investigation showed that the student first reached Gwalior, then traveled through Bayana to Kaladevi, where, as it turned out, he performed a pilgrimage. They stayed together for some time but then separated to different cities. The police continued the search using mobile phone location data and other technical evidence. When both were safely found, the police felt relieved. After that, they were handed over to their families.

During interrogation, the teacher presented her version of why the student left home. According to her, the student was stressed due to criticism about his studies at home and had come to her crying multiple times. The teacher stated that on August 4, the student called her and informed her of his intention to commit suicide. She said she became frightened upon hearing this and took him with her to prevent such an act. However, the situation spiraled out of control afterward. The teacher admitted that she later realized her decision was wrong but could not bring herself to return home. The police recorded statements from both parties. According to the information provided by the police, both were found safely.

Relatives decline further action

According to the police, after finding both, they were informed of the discovery. After speaking with the families of the student and the teacher, the decision was made not to take any further legal measures. This was confirmed by the head of the Tajganj police station, Inspector Niraj Kumar Sharma. He stated that the police found both and handed them over to their families. At present, the most important aspect of this incident is that the minor student was found safe. Furthermore, the police investigation revealed that there had been prior communication between the student and the teacher, and both left Agra by train.

An incident occurred at the government school in Kannauj that drew the attention of the Department of Education. Students began protesting instead of attending classes, after which they surrounded the vehicle of the responsible director. The children stood nearby and voiced their grievances.

This incident took place at PM Shri Complex School, located in Gugarapur, Kannauj. As usual, the children came to school, but the atmosphere was different. Many students were dissatisfied with the responsible director. Soon, the children boycotted the school and started a demonstration. The situation escalated when the director arrived in his car, and the students surrounded it from all sides. Video footage of this protest, showing the students standing near the car, also became available.

The cause of the children's anger stemmed from numerous accusations made by them and their parents against the responsible director. The students claimed that they were being discriminated against. Furthermore, allegations of rudeness and physical violence from the director were raised. Thus, the children's complaints related not only to the educational process or any school system but were directly connected to the director's behavior.

The school was also accused of cutting down green trees planted on the school grounds. Due to these numerous claims, the children became outraged and started a protest, boycotting the school. After receiving information about the protest at the school, police officers arrived at the scene. The police held a discussion with the students and their parents to learn more about the situation.

To calm the situation, officials from the Department of Basic Education arrived. A Department of Basic Education official, Sandeep Singh, spoke with the children, listened to their complaints, and tried to persuade them. After the official's explanation, the children's anger subsided. The protest concluded, and classes resumed at the school.

This incident caused widespread resonance, raising questions about children's complaints and how they are treated in schools. A significant point was that the children boycotted the school and surrounded the director's car to voice their grievances. Currently, the veracity of the accusations made by the students will be established after an investigation. Officials from the Department of Education arrived at the scene and stabilized the situation; now it remains to determine further actions regarding these allegations.

In the Jai Prakash Narayan Sarowadai School on Mohan Road, Lucknow, anger erupted among hundreds of students dissatisfied with the unsatisfactory condition and administrative negligence. On Friday morning, students took to the streets to express outrage at the alleged carelessness of the school's management. They completely blocked the Budhheshwar-Mohan route and began an active protest, leveling serious accusations against the school's teachers and staff. The demonstration on the road caused a prolonged traffic jam, negatively affecting transport in the area.

The students stated that the quality of food in the dormitory was extremely low; insects were sometimes found in the food, but complaints were ignored. Furthermore, they pointed to serious negligence in medical care. According to the students, even if one of them fell ill, the pharmacist would simply hand out a Dolo tablet instead of providing proper treatment and evade responsibility. Students also noted a shortage of teachers, which negatively impacted their education, and their appeals went unanswered, forcing them to take decisive action.

Upon receiving news of the road blockade by the students, the Minister for Social Affairs and Chief Secretary Anrag Yadav immediately arrived at the scene. They calmed the students who were chanting slogans in the middle of the road and escorted them to the school premises. The Minister sat down with the children, listened carefully to each of their problems, and gave firm promises of prompt resolution, after which the students calmed down, and the protest concluded.

Speaking with the students, the Minister for Social Affairs, Asim Arun, stated that the youth's demands were absolutely justified, and he accepted them. He acknowledged that some improvements had been made but expressed dissatisfaction with the current situation, emphasizing the need for further progress. The Minister added that teacher training is conducted through contracts with expensive private schools, as well as through online learning. Regarding the teacher shortage, he reported that the issue was under judicial review, and effective measures would be taken within a week to find a solution. He strictly reminded the teachers that strengthening basic foundations is their duty.

For his part, Chief Secretary Anrag Yadav assured the students that the administration is making every effort to ensure the dormitory and school serve as a home for the students. He promised to renovate the hall, warden's accommodation, and all necessary facilities so that the children can focus solely on their studies and building their future without any hindrance.
