In the village of Rampura-Kanwarpura, located in the Bagaru area of Jaipur city, a conflict occurred between activists of the Kokroch Janata Party (CJP) and local residents. The residents stated that they would not allow anyone to enter their village except representatives of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Congress.
Local residents explained their protest by saying that disinformation was being spread under the pretext of school improvement, so they gathered and protested against the activists, demanding their departure.
The situation developed when a CJP team arrived in the village of Rampura-Kanwarpura in the Bagaru area of Jaipur on Friday to inspect a government school as part of the 'Repair the School' campaign. During this visit, the CJP team faced resistance from local residents.
A representative of the party, Ashutosh Ranka, accused the BJP activists of attacking his team and breaking car windows at the school complex.
CJP representative Ashutosh Ranka strongly reacted to the incident, stating that his activists visited the government school in the village to assess its current condition as part of the 'Repair the School' campaign. He claimed that people and BJP activists present there beat his colleagues and damaged vehicle windows.
On the other hand, one resident, Jugal Kishore Sharma, refuted the CJP's accusations of an attack, noting that the residents did not carry out any attacks. He reported that the CJP group arrived with 200–250 people, and it was them who damaged their own car.
Jugal Kishore also mentioned that the local MLA had approved an amount of 12 lakh rupees for school repairs. He emphasized that he would not allow any other party into the village territory except the BJP or Congress.
He also stated that the presence of a large number of people frightened his wife, who is staying indoors due to fear.
Anna Sharma, a village resident, expressed concerns about attempts to demolish the school, stating that if the school is destroyed, where will the students go. She noted that 20–25 children from their area study in this school.
According to the woman, school repairs are not taking place despite repeated complaints. She claims that CJP activists come here to protest and declare plans to demolish the school, which the residents do not want.
Anna Sharma also insisted that funds for school repairs have already been allocated. Local residents are protesting due to the threat of school closure, which jeopardizes their children's education. She rejected the claims of a fight with CJP activists, saying there was no fight; only a minor scuffle occurred with two women accompanying them, as residents previously refused them entry, but they still came and tried to destroy it in the morning.
