According to data from the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan, the total volume of Uzbekistan's exports for the first seven months of 2026 amounted to $17.1 billion USD. This figure exceeded the volume recorded for the same period last year by 132 percent.
From January to July 2026, products of domestic production were sent to 120 countries. Furthermore, Uzbek exporters expanded their presence into five new foreign markets: Sudan, Zimbabwe, Cambodia, Honduras, and Mauritius.
The main factors driving export growth were supplies of textile products, fruits and vegetables, jewelry, construction materials, food products, and electrical goods.
Support for Exporters and Financial Assistance
The Ministry and relevant agencies continue to support domestic exporters and promote Uzbek goods on the international stage. Over the seven-month period, 1141 business entities received financial assistance through the Trade Promotion Fund. Under pre-export financing mechanisms, $136.5 million USD was allocated to 113 enterprises, which contributed to subsequent shipments worth $1.53 billion.
Work on Resolving Operational Issues
One of the main tasks of trade authorities remains solving the operational problems faced by exporters. From January to July 2026, specialized export support centers reviewed 3044 requests from business representatives, of which 2547 were positively resolved, accounting for an 84 percent resolution rate. The Ministry continues to work on diversifying export geography, stimulating the export of high value-added goods, and improving state support mechanisms for commercial enterprises.
