PVR Inox Board of Directors to Consider Share Buyback Proposal on August 31

Multiplex operator PVR Inox Ltd announced on Tuesday that its board of directors will hold a meeting on August 31 to consider a proposal for the buyback of the company's equity capital.

The company has not yet disclosed any details regarding the number of shares or the price at which the buyback plan will be offered.

In regulatory filings, PVR Inox indicated that the board meeting is scheduled for Monday, August 31, 2026, and it will be dedicated, among other things, to considering and approving the proposal to buy back the company's shares with a nominal value of 10 rupees, as well as related matters.

The company stated that the results of the board meeting will be communicated to the stock exchanges shortly after its conclusion, in accordance with the SEBI LODR 2015 Regulations.

PVR Inox shares reached a fifty-two-week high of 1,283 rupees on August 25, 2026, while the low was recorded on March 2, 2026, at 900.05 rupees.

PVR Inox is the largest multiplex chain in India, formed by the merger of PVR Ltd and Inox Leisure in 2023.

As of June 30, 2026, PVR INOX operated 1,779 screens in 113 cities across India and Sri Lanka. During the day trading session on BSE, PVR Inox shares traded at a price of 1,230.40 rupees per share, which was 0.07 percent lower than the previous close.
