Uzbekistan Attracts $32.9 Billion in Investments Over Seven Months

According to data from the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan, during the first seven months of 2026, Uzbekistan attracted foreign investments and loans totaling $32.9 billion, exceeding planned targets by 31.1 percent.

Of the total amount of funds utilized, which amounted to $32.9 billion, direct foreign investments and loans accounted for $30.3 billion. At the regional level, between January and July 2026, $24.3 billion in foreign capital was directed to various regions of the country, surpassing target indicators by 61.8 percent.

The Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade, in cooperation with relevant state institutions and local authorities, continues to support projects and monitor their implementation timelines. To maintain positive investment momentum, responsible structures are conducting targeted work with project developers and foreign investors. This work includes monitoring project execution, resolving operational issues, and accelerating the launch of new production capacities.

Ministry representatives noted that current control and support efforts are aimed at ensuring the timely completion of investment projects and promoting the further attraction of foreign capital to the regions of Uzbekistan.
