Insect found in Paul bakery in Pune; video sparks public outcry

A sensational incident related to the discovery of an insect in food products has occurred in Pune, Maharashtra. A resident of Pune, Vinod Tilekar, stated that he found an insect in food purchased at the 'Paul Bakery' located in Phoenix Marketcity, Viman Nagar area.

Vinod Tilekar reported that he bought food from the bakery on August 24th for home. After arriving home, he discovered an insect in the food. Expressing concern about the hygiene and quality of the bakery's products, he raised the issue on a public platform.

As of now, the bakery management has not issued an official statement regarding these allegations.

It is worth noting that a similar incident previously took place at the 'Paul' restaurant located in One Horizon Center (OHC) in Gurugram. There, a customer found a live insect in a sandwich. A video recording of this incident quickly spread across social media.

The video clearly shows a white insect crawling inside the sandwich. Following the viral spread of the video, the restaurant management apologized to the customer.

According to information, the customer Sulab Mathur came to the restaurant on Friday morning around 11 am with his friends for breakfast. They ordered about six or seven dishes, including a sandwich. Shortly after the food was served, Sulab noticed a live insect in the bread making up the sandwich. The discovery of the insect caused a small commotion in the restaurant. In the viral video, a young woman sitting at the table is heard expressing surprise and saying: 'Oh my god, this is a very big worm.'

After the video became widely circulated on social media, the management of the 'Paul' restaurant called Sulab and apologized to him.
