The Bombay High Court has opened recruitment for 18 cook positions in its Aurangabad Bench. A specific requirement for this vacancy is that the minimum qualification to apply is a certificate of completion of the fourth grade. Furthermore, candidates must possess good knowledge of Marathi and Hindi.

The Bombay High Court plans to hire 18 cooks. The published notification reserves one position for candidates with disabilities. A list of selected candidates will be compiled after the hiring process is complete.
For the cook position, possession of a fourth-grade certificate and a good understanding of Marathi and Hindi is mandatory. Additionally, experience in preparing various vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes is required, meaning academic knowledge alone is not sufficient for selection.
Priority will be given to candidates who have completed a culinary course at a recognized institution and hold the corresponding certificate. Candidates with at least two years of experience as a cook or chef in three- or five-star hotels will also receive an advantage.
For candidates from the general caste, the age must be between 18 and 38 years. However, candidates from underprivileged sections will be granted an increase in the maximum age to 43 years. Nevertheless, there is no upper age limit for court employees or government officials.
It should be noted that applications for this position are sent via express mail, not online, and there is no fee for applying. However, selected candidates will have to pay a fee of 200 rupees at the next stage of the procedure.
Candidates must first visit the official website of the Bombay High Court (bombayhighcourt.gov.in) to review the official recruitment notification. They should then download the application form (Annexure-A) specified in the notification. After carefully filling out the form, the candidate must correctly enter their educational qualifications and attach a recent color photograph in the designated spot.
The application must be sent to: The Manager (Administration), Bombay High Court, Bench Aurangabad, Jalna Road, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar – 431009. The following documents must also be attached: educational certificates, date of birth certificate, caste certificate, disability certificate, if applicable, residence certificate, and a food preparation experience certificate. Furthermore, the candidate must provide a character certificate, a family declaration, and, if they are a government employee, a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the relevant institution. A list of dishes that can be prepared, an envelope with the applicant's address affixed with a 5 rupee postage stamp, and a passport-sized photograph must also be enclosed with the application.
