The Chinese team All Gamers defeated two-time champions Team Falcons from Saudi Arabia in the video game tournament Esports World Cup (EWC), which took place on Sunday in Paris.
This tournament, recognized as the largest event in the esports sphere, featured a total prize pool exceeding $70 million. It was also the first time EWC was held outside of Saudi Arabia since its inception there in 2024.
At the close of Sunday, the closing ceremony was attended by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, as well as the host, French President Emmanuel Macron.
