Trade volume between China and SCO countries has increased more than 40 times in 25 years

Since 2001, the countries of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) have maintained the 'Shanghai Spirit' amid stable growth in regional trade.

By 2025, China's total trade turnover with other SCO members reached nearly 524 billion US dollars. This figure exceeds the level of 2001, which was about 12 billion dollars.

Regional cooperation is undergoing changes: it is shifting from commodity exchange to investments in the real sector. The accumulated volume of Chinese investment in member states has exceeded 84 billion dollars. Furthermore, over 3,000 local enterprises have been created, providing an average of more than 200,000 jobs annually.
