Three members of the Bambiha gang deported from Malaysia by Indian agencies' operations

As part of a major operation against the Bambiha criminal network, Indian authorities conducted a coordinated campaign to curb the activities of its key foreign operatives. Three members of this group were deported from Malaysia who acted in the interests of the gang boss, Lucky Patiala, organizing murders and carrying out extortion in India.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah announced this high-profile action on Monday on the social media platform X. The operation targeted Jaspreet Singh (under the alias Jas Bebhal) from Faridkot, as well as Ajay Singh (under the alias Ajay Malaysia) and Pawandeep Singh, both from the Shri Ganganagar district of Rajasthan state.

Shah stated that Indian services managed to apprehend these three fugitives in Malaysia and bring them to India. He noted that these fugitives are linked to the Bambiha gang and are accused of numerous crimes, including extortion, cross-border trade in weapons and drugs, as well as an unsuccessful grenade attack in Ludhiana. Furthermore, he mentioned that only in 2026 have their services facilitated the deportation of 51 hardened criminals.
