Liga GG is entering a new stage of its project, marking a significant expansion in its operation within the Tier 3 esports scene. This evolution aims to increase the reach of the tournaments and bring the championships closer to a wider audience.
The transformations include a renewal of the visual identity, the launch of a new website, greater integration with Discord, introduction of new modalities, and a strategic collaboration with Olhar Digital.
Visually, Liga GG underwent a rebranding process, adopting new logos and an updated visual identity to reflect this new phase of the organization.
Beyond aesthetics, a new Liga GG website will be officially launched on August 28th. This platform will centralize crucial data about the competitions, such as schedules and rankings, and will function integratedly with the community's Discord, seeking to concentrate the experience of players and teams in these two environments to facilitate access to necessary information.
One of the central points of this new phase is the partnership established with Olhar Digital. Starting next season, the CELOL broadcasts, held on weekends, will be simultaneously streamed on the Olhar Digital YouTube channel, which has approximately 990 thousand subscribers.
This union offers Liga GG competitors the chance to expose their grassroots scene matches to an audience that might not have been aware of these competitions previously. This reinforces the goal of fostering Tier 3, because it is not enough just to organize tournaments; it is essential to create visibility so that players are noticed.
The collaboration goes beyond just broadcasts. The Games and Consoles section of Olhar Digital will begin covering the news and results of Liga GG tournaments, providing weekly information on the progress of the championships.
For those starting to follow the competitive scene, this is an opportunity to observe from the base the athletes and teams striving to establish their space in esports. For members already engaged in Liga GG, it represents a new showcase for the narratives generated during the competitions.
The two existing modalities in Liga GG will remain active in this new phase. In VALORANT, the Valorant Prime League (VPL) has its new cycle scheduled to start on September 10th. In League of Legends, CELOL A will return on September 12th, starting another season of the main division within Liga GG. The qualification stages that determined the participants have already been completed, and the competition will officially begin in September.
Liga GG's expansion goes beyond League of Legends and VALORANT, as the organization is developing the inclusion of five new modalities in its competitive ecosystem. These new championships will be presented progressively, increasing Liga GG's presence in other gaming communities.
The arrival of these new modalities opens doors for players aiming for their first championships, as well as for other professionals interested in starting a career in esports. Grassroots championships are essential for providing competitive experience, identifying talent, and giving visibility to new professionals, and Liga GG is expanding precisely to strengthen this environment.
