The biopharmaceutical company PROMOMED has established its own legal entity in Tashkent, named LLC "PROMOMED-PHARMA".
Through its local presence, the company intends to expand cooperation with physicians, the pharmaceutical community, and business partners, as well as create sustainable supply channels for medicines into Uzbekistan.
According to PROMOMED Executive Director Eduard Kasyan, the new legal entity will hire local specialists. The company expects this to lead to the creation of highly qualified jobs and allow local employees to acquire professional knowledge and skills that meet international standards.
Representatives of PROMOMED-PHARMA will handle registration procedures and interactions with the regulatory bodies of Uzbekistan. The company anticipates that this will accelerate the introduction of modern medications to the local market, especially in the fields of metabolic disorders, endocrinology, and oncology.
Furthermore, PROMOMED is working on establishing its own pharmacovigilance service in Uzbekistan. The company is also preparing informational support programs for doctors and pharmacists, which will include educational events, scientific gatherings, and engagement with the professional community.
PROMOMED stated that creating a local legal entity will ensure more direct interaction with participants in the Uzbek pharmaceutical market and guarantee the stable presence of the company's products in the country.
PROMOMED was founded in 2005 and will celebrate its twentieth anniversary in 2025. Ordinary shares of PJSC Promomed are traded on the Moscow Exchange under the ticker PRMD.
