American scientists conducted a study that found no correlation between exposure to organophosphate compounds during pregnancy and the appearance of autistic symptoms in children.
As part of this work, researchers examined information collected from data of more than three thousand mother-child pairs residing in the United States of America. The results of this scientific investigation were officially presented in the journal JAMA Pediatrics.
