An educational seminar dedicated to the application of artificial intelligence in the tourism sector was held in the province of Western Azerbaijan, Iran. The goal of the event was to enhance the qualifications of tourism industry specialists, improve digital services, and study the possibilities of new technologies for sector development.
Heads of travel agencies, hotel staff, and other tourism professionals participated in the seminar. According to Miras Aria, the event took place on Sunday.
The training program discussed the latest achievements of artificial intelligence in the hospitality industry. Topics included using data analysis to study traveler behavior, applying intelligent chatbots for round-the-clock service, and creating targeted content to attract tourists.
Participants were also presented with successful international examples and methods of using AI-based platforms to increase productivity and improve the performance indicators of tourism enterprises, according to the report.
Western Azerbaijan is located in northwestern Iran and borders Azerbaijan and Turkey to the north, Turkey and Iraq to the west, Eastern Azerbaijan and Zanjan province to the east, and Kurdistan province to the south.
