Uzbekneftegaz announced that the company held discussions with the American company Schlumberger regarding the expansion of technological partnership, which includes digitalization, the application of artificial intelligence, and the implementation of modern solutions for field management.
The Chairman of the Board of Uzbekneftegaz, Abdugani Sanginov, met with a delegation from Schlumberger led by the company's Vice President for Asia, Lee Dan. The parties analyzed the current level of their interaction and discussed prospects for further development of cooperation.
Particular attention was paid to the integration of advanced technologies into the oil and gas industry. Priority areas included field management, geophysical surveys, digitalization of production processes, the use of artificial intelligence, as well as modeling and management of geological data.
The companies also reviewed proposals put forward by Schlumberger and opportunities for their subsequent study and implementation on the basis of mutual benefit.
During the meeting, both sides expressed readiness to continue joint work on technological solutions aimed at increasing extraction efficiency and improving geological exploration.
Sanginov emphasized the importance of increasing the practical effectiveness of cooperation, attracting advanced technologies, and effectively implementing existing projects.
Following the negotiations, Uzbekneftegaz and Schlumberger reached an agreement to strengthen the partnership, continue discussions on promising areas, and coordinate the next practical steps.
