FDA Suspends Operations of Five MCA Restaurants in Mumbai Due to Sanitary Violations

Officials reported that the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has suspended the licenses of five restaurants located within the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) premises in Mumbai. The reason for the suspension is serious violations of food safety and hygiene regulations.

During inspections, spoiled raw products, low overall sanitation levels, and incorrect freezing temperature control were discovered. Furthermore, it was noted that food production workers were not using gloves, raising concerns about the risk of contamination.
