The Ministry of Commerce in Saudi Arabia has issued a warning regarding the recall of 84,639 Toyota Camry vehicles from the 2025–2026 model years due to a malfunction in the instrument panel system.
This defect potentially may prevent the display of important information and can affect the operation of turn signals, warning lights, ignition key sounds, and seat belts, which could increase the probability of a road traffic accident.
Owners of affected vehicles are recommended to check if their car is on the recall list by entering its Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) on the Recalls.sa platform.
This recall is part of a series of other vehicle safety notifications issued by the Ministry of Commerce in recent weeks.
Previously, on August 10, Saudi Arabia recalled 27,360 Chevrolet vehicles due to a defect related to the driver's airbag inflator module. This recall covers Chevrolet Cruze models produced between 2012 and 2018; Chevrolet Trax released between 2010 and 2017; and Chevrolet Aveo manufactured between 2010–2017.
Even earlier, on August 3, Saudi Arabia announced the recall of 96 Audi Q5 SUVs from the 2025 model year after discovering a defect in the front seat belt pretensioner.
All these recall procedures are part of Saudi Arabia's ongoing vehicle safety assurance program, and authorities strongly urge owners to check the status of their cars to ensure safer journeys.
