NBEMS changes NEET PG 2026 admit card release date: they will be available on August 25

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has adjusted the release date for the admit cards for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate courses (NEET-PG 2026). According to the official notification, the admit cards will be released not today (August 24), but tomorrow, August 25, 2026.

After the link is activated, candidates will be able to download their admit cards using their credentials on the official website natboard.edu.in. It should be noted that information regarding the examination city was published on August 12, allowing students to know their examination center in advance.

In its official statement, NBEMS indicated that the changes in the organization of the exam are being made in response to requests received from Assam and Meghalaya, as well as due to some unforeseen circumstances. Consequently, the release of admit cards is postponed from August 24, 2026, to August 25, 2026.

The Board strongly recommends that students rely solely on the official NBEMS website for updates and avoid unverified messages circulated on social media.

To begin, one must visit the official website natboard.edu.in. Then, click on the 'NEET PG 2026' tab located on the homepage. After opening the new page, click on the admit card link. You need to enter the requested information (login details) and press 'Submit'. Your NEET PG 2026 admit card will appear on the screen, which should be downloaded and printed for future use.

The NEET PG 2026 exam will take place on August 30 in a single shift format. Changes have been made to the exam structure this time. According to the new scheme, candidates will need to answer 180 questions in 210 minutes, whereas the previous scheme provided for 200 questions. This change will give students slightly more time to solve each question, although the total duration of the exam remains unchanged.
