The E-permit electronic permit system, designed for international road freight transport between Uzbekistan and China, has been modified and transitioned to a new operating principle. Documents will now be issued only upon request from the carrier.
National carriers are strongly urged to submit applications exclusively when there is a specifically planned shipment. Previously, it was possible to obtain permits in advance, but processing them without a real need or 'just in case' contributed to the unjustified expenditure of the established quota and could hinder the work of other carriers.
When submitting an application, carriers must correctly specify the border crossings through which entry into China and exit from it is planned. After the permit is obtained, it is necessary to strictly follow the declared route, observe established norms for transporting goods, and comply with the regulations for staying in the PRC territory.
Control over compliance with all stated requirements will be carried out by inspection services of both countries. Any identified violations will be recorded, and if the offense is confirmed, the system will automatically restrict the further issuance of electronic permits to that carrier.
Furthermore, the department issued a warning regarding potential technical malfunctions during the implementation of the updated system. In case any problems arise, carriers are advised to promptly inform the relevant authorities, providing their company name, vehicle state registration number, or the application number itself.
