The state government has launched the 'Bihar Vidya Sathi' application for schoolchildren in Bihar to promptly address academic questions and doubts. This digital initiative was officially presented by Bihar Minister Samrat Chaudhary at 700 Saraswati Vidya Niketan model schools.
This government program will benefit approximately 300 thousand students from 38 districts of the state. The main feature of the application is round-the-clock support from teachers: students studying in grades 9 through 12 can receive free live support from teachers at any time of the day.
A team of about 75 thousand teachers will provide one-on-one live support to the students. Students can independently choose a teacher according to their needs and convenience, receiving immediate solutions to academic questions.
The functionality covers all subjects for classes 9 and 10, as well as science streams for classes 11 and 12. In addition to the Bihar Board exams, students preparing for competitive entrance exams such as JEE and NEET will be provided with free digital study materials.
The application integrates Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools that help simplify concept understanding, complete practical tests, and conduct digital learning.
During the launch of the application, Minister Samrat Chaudhary stated that the government's main goal is to ensure continuous teacher support for students regardless of their location or time of study. Currently, the service is launched in 700 model schools, but it is planned to expand its coverage to all state and affiliated schools in the future.
