To find out the number of numbers registered under your name via Sanchar Saathi, you need to go to the official platform, select the service 'Know Mobile Connections in Your Name' or TAFCOP, and then enter your phone number for OTP verification. After completing the check, the system will display information about all registered connections. According to official data, the purpose of this service is to help people verify their numbers and identify potentially fake connections.
Additionally, the Sanchar Saathi mobile application is available, which allows citizens to use various services, including checking registered numbers and reporting suspicious or fake connections. The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) reports that the application is available for Android and iOS platforms.
If you have only registered two SIM cards, but a third unknown number appears in the Sanchar Saathi list, it should not be ignored. The TAFCOP service provides the user with the ability to report such a number that they did not request. According to official government documents, the user can also apply to disable lines that they do not need or that were issued without their participation.
This means that even if the number belongs to you but is no longer in use, the process of reporting and disabling it can be initiated. If, however, the number was issued in your name without your knowledge, it is crucial to report it as a fake or unknown connection.
