Good news for candidates aspiring to work in a school: the Sainik School Complex in Sambalpur, Orissa, has announced recruitment for both teaching and support staff positions.
The offered roles include PGT and TGT teachers, as well as positions such as PEM, PTI, matron, art master, lab assistant, and junior clerk. Some of these positions will be filled permanently, while others will be on contract.

For TGT, a 4-year degree with integrated education and a B.Ed. qualification is mandatory, along with successful completion of CTET Paper-2 or TET exams. PEM-PTI and matron positions require a bachelor's degree or a diploma in physical education. The Art Master must hold a degree related to fine arts, drawing and painting, sculpture, or graphic design.
For the lab assistant, intermediate qualification in science subjects is necessary, whereas candidates with a 10th-grade certificate can apply for the Junior Clerk (LDC) position.
The offered salary is also quite attractive. Selected candidates for permanent PGT positions can expect a salary ranging from 47,600 to 151,100 rupees according to the 7th pay grade, at pay level-8, plus additional allowances. For TGT, the range is from 44,900 to 142,400 rupees within pay level-7.
The following monthly salaries are set for other positions: PEM-PTI and matron will receive 40,000 rupees, Art Master will receive 70,500 rupees, Lab Assistant will receive 33,000 rupees, and LDC will receive 30,000 rupees.
Government and OBC candidates must pay a registration fee of 500 rupees, while candidates from SC-ST castes are charged 250 rupees. After payment, the completed application form, along with necessary documents and proof of payment, must be mailed to the school address.
