The 'Recruitment Reforms March' is scheduled to begin in the state of Jharkhand at 11:00 AM, resulting from growing dissatisfaction among students regarding corruption and leakage of examination materials in public recruitment processes. Devendra Mahto announced this major initiative on Monday morning.
The main goal of this movement is to improve the examination system for exams such as JPSC and JSSC and ensure a transparent environment for the youth. According to Devendra Mahto, young people in the state have suffered from corruption, material leaks, favoritism, and political patronage in the recruitment system over the past 26 years.
He noted that this has negatively affected millions of hardworking young people who have prepared for civil service for years. Previously, students had been running a campaign called the 'Anti-Corruption in Recruitment Campaign' for the last month, and now, to bring it to a decisive point, a statewide march is being organized.
This march, starting on Monday at 11:00 AM, will cover all districts of the state. During the movement, students from different districts will unite to demand strengthening of the examination system. The youth of the state have high hopes for this campaign, believing it will give strength to the demands for changes in the recruitment system.
Parallel to the start of this street protest, all attention is focused on the Supreme Court. A public petition has been filed demanding an investigation into alleged irregularities in the JPSC Combined Civil Services PT Examination-2025 through the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). The country's highest court will hold an important hearing on this petition today. Thus, while the youth take to the streets to demand their rights, the future of the disputed examinations will be decided in court.
