National Space Day: Prime Minister Modi noted youth's contribution to technology, ISRO chief announced plans for 8 spacecraft launches and 12 missions

On the occasion of the third National Space Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi highly praised India's global growth in the space industry. He specifically commended Generation Z for developing new technologies, noting that this progress has turned India into a 'magnet' for international investors.

According to the meeting transcript published on Sunday, Modi emphasized that the country's vast talent pool and its willingness to take risks will allow India to quickly secure a dominant position in the global space arena.

One of the directors informed the Prime Minister that there is very positive momentum observed since opening the space industry to private companies. Many Indian citizens residing in the USA and Europe are now eager to return and work in the country.

In response, Modi stated the need to establish connections with a large number of people, including those who have gone abroad and are now returning. He expressed confidence that an atmosphere should be created so that people worldwide feel that they should choose India for their career building, and that they can connect with a startup or a space agency in India.
