Iron-Rich Hemp Seed Chutney Recipe to Combat Hair Loss and Weakness

When experiencing severe fatigue and weakness during work, which may be related to insufficient oxygen intake due to iron deficiency, it is important to pay attention to nutrition. Iron deficiency leads to reduced hemoglobin production and increases the risk of developing anemia, as well as causing hair problems.

Currently, people of all ages face the problem of hair loss, but they often limit themselves to including foods rich in vitamins and proteins in their diet, while ignoring extremely important sources of iron. Although treating iron deficiency should be done under a doctor's prescription, regular consumption of iron-enriched foods can significantly help in disease prevention.

If you are looking for a simple way to add iron to your diet, nutritionist and wellness content creator Hushi Chabda shared a recipe for hemp seed and curry leaf chutney on Instagram. This chutney will contain a large amount of iron.

According to her, the homemade mixture of hemp seeds and curry leaves is a combination of iron-containing components, plant protein, and healthy fats that can help increase hemoglobin levels and maintain daily energy levels. Preparing this chutney does not require much effort, and it can improve the taste of even ordinary food like dal and rice. Below is a simple instruction for preparing hemp seed and curry leaf chutney.

Ingredients for Iron-Rich Chutney

To prepare the chutney, you need:

Take a pan and heat it over low heat, adding ghee. When the oil is hot, add cumin seeds, fenugreek seeds, dried red pepper, split chickpeas (chana dal), curry leaves, and hemp seeds. Roast all ingredients until golden brown, then turn off the gas. Immediately after this, add cane sugar (jaggery) to the oil and continue stirring until all the sugar is evenly mixed. After the sugar is incorporated, let the mixer cool down, and then grind it in a blender into a coarse powder. This powder can be stored in an airtight container and used for 10–15 days.

How to Use This Chutney Powder

This powder can be used as desired: two tablespoons can be added to dal, idli, sambar, or simply with ghee and rice, as well as with any vegetables. It can also be diluted with water to make a paste that adds flavor to any dish.
